This Privacy Policy applies to all services provided by JobPrism ("we", "us", "our"), including our Government Jobs side (job listings, exam preparation, mock tests, study tools) and our Private Tech Jobs side (private job listings, AI Suite, ATS Resume Checker, tech courses, career tools). By using any part of JobPrism, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, subscribe to our services, or contact us for support.

Account Information:

• Email address (used for authentication via Supabase Auth)
• Profile preferences and settings
• Referral code and referral relationships

Usage Data:

• Job search history and saved preferences
• Mock test attempts, scores, and analytics
• Coin balance, transaction history, and reward activity
• Subscription status and plan details
• Feature usage tracking (daily limits, access logs)
• Ad view history (for the coin reward system)

AI Interaction Data:

• Conversations with Study GPT (our AI study assistant)
• Resumes uploaded to the ATS Resume Checker
• Queries sent to the AI Suite tools (Career Architect, etc.)

Technical Data:

How We Use Your Information

AI Data Processing

JobPrism uses artificial intelligence to power features like Study GPT, ATS Resume Checker, and Career Architect. When you use these features:

• Your input (questions, resumes, queries) is sent to third-party AI model providers (such as Google Gemini) for processing
• AI responses are generated in real-time and are not pre-written or reviewed by humans
• We do not use your AI conversations to train our own models
• AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies — always verify important information from official sources
• When you use the web search feature in Study GPT, your query is sent to external search APIs to fetch real-time information

Important: Do not share sensitive personal information (Aadhaar numbers, bank details, passwords) in AI conversations. While we secure data in transit, AI conversations may be processed by third-party infrastructure.

Coin Economy & Transaction Data

JobPrism operates a virtual coin system. We track and store:

• Your coin balance, coin earning history, and spending history
• Ad views completed for coin rewards
• Daily stipend grants (for premium users)
• Purchase transactions (mock tests, AI chats, daily passes)
• Referral bonuses and how they were earned

Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies, localStorage, and similar technologies to remember preferences, maintain session state, and understand how our services are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain features.

Types of Cookies We Use:

• Essential Cookies: Required for authentication, session management, and website security

Payment Processing:

• UPI Payments: Premium subscription payments are currently processed via direct UPI transfer. We do not store your UPI ID, bank account details, or payment credentials

Analytics & Advertising:

• Google Analytics: Website usage analytics (anonymized)
• Monetag: Advertising network
• 7SearchPPC: Pay-per-click advertising
• Galaksion: Advertising services

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Specifically:

• Account data is retained as long as your account is active
• Payment/subscription records are retained for 3 years for tax/compliance purposes
• AI conversation logs may be retained for up to 90 days for service improvement
• Ad view and coin transaction logs are retained for the life of your account
• When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days

Your Rights

Subject to applicable law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may have the following rights:

• Access your personal data that we hold
• Correct inaccurate personal data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Withdraw consent for data processing
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
• Object to processing of your data for certain purposes

Children's Privacy

• Server-side authentication for all sensitive operations
